The Creative Countdown
We are now half way round the circle of creation. We started at midnight and with blueprint in hand we now stand at 6 o’clock.
Let’s retrace our steps quickly to see how far we’ve come. We started at the top where everything and nothing meet. We started with nothing. But more truly we started with everything or infinity.
The steps again were infinity (our starting point). Then we moved through the band of thought. Next we established the playing field or world where all would take place. Then we populated that world by considering the living elements or life itself. After that, we come to a nexus where unifying themes are established. This step serves to unify the project and make all of its parts into a whole. Then we organize and group elements of our plan. Then we ornament bringing on beauty and an aesthetic sense through creativity. Finally we arrive a the level of symbolic creation and a blueprint for our home.
Next comes the actual construction of the home itself. So in fact, all the parts we’ve discussed so far are merely the countdown to actual launch or groundbreaking!
Due to their breath, this countdown of 8 steps embraces every conceivable action prior to launch. I haven’t listed everything -- I’m trying to keep this relatively short! However, if you examine the character of each step you will see how and where all other steps fit into the process. And here is the magic: you can even predict vital steps that you may not have known even existed or were necessary. And here is where understanding this philosophic machine will advance and improve your own artistic quality and thus your success.
